Basic Waffles

A simple waffle recipe.

| 1 3/4 | c. | Flour |
| 2 | tsp. | Baking Powder |
| 1/2 | tsp. | Kosher Salt |
| 1 | Tbsp. | Sugar |
| 3 | Eggs | |
| 7 | Tbsp. | Vegetable Oil |
| 1 1/2 | c. | Milk |
Directions:
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt
- Stir in sugar
- Separate egg yolks from whites
- Beat egg whites to soft peaks
- Add vegetable oil and milk to egg yolks and mix well
- Combine dry and wet ingredients (not including egg whites) and mix thoroughly
- Fold in egg whites, one third at a time
- Prepare waffles in waffle iron, using about 1/2 c. batter for each (for a 9-inch waffle iron)
