Black Bean Sauce
Goes well with mexican and southwestern entrees.
Yield: About 2 cups.
|1||Jalapeno Pepper (finely diced)|
|1||can (15 oz)||Black Beans|
- Heat olive oil over medium heat
- Add onion and cook until it softens, about 5-7 minutes
- Add jalapeno and garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds, stirring regularly
- Add black beans, cumin, salt, and pepper and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes
- Use and immersion blender to blend sauce
