Chocolate Anise Cookies
Description:
Biscotti cookies with anise and chocolate chips.

1/4 | tsp. | Kosher Salt |
3/4 | c. | Sugar |
1 | stick | Butter (room temperature) |
2 | Eggs (room temperature) | |
1/2 | tsp. | Ground Anise Seed |
1 | c. | Chocolate Chips |
Directions:
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt
- Cream sugar and butter
- Add eggs and ground anise to creamed mixture and mix well
- Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
- Form log on a about three inches across on prepared cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes
- Cool for 30 minutes
- Slice into 3/4 inch thick cookies
- Lay cookies flat on cookie sheet and bake at 350 F. for 15 minutes
