Description: Beef and pasta in a paprika tomato sauce.
Yield: About 4 servings.

Qty Unit Ingredient
1 lb. Stew Beef (cubed)
1 c. Flour (for coating beef only)
3 Tomatoes (diced)
28 oz Tomato sauce
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 c. Chicken Stock
1/2 c. Onion (chopped)
1/2 c. Red Bell Pepper
2 Tbsp. Paprika
2 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 Bay Leaf
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper
1 lb. Elbow Macaroni (cooked, drained)


  1. Coat beef in flour, discard excess
  2. Brown beef in olive oil over medium heat (just to carmelize, not to cook through)
  3. Add beef and all other ingredients except pasta to a crock pot
  4. Cook on high for 3 hours
  5. Cook pasta until it is a bit underdone
  6. Add pasta to the crock pot and cook for 5-10 minutes
