Gyro Burgers

Description: Lamb burgers.
Yield: Four quarter pound burgers. We serve with ranch dressing, but you could make a tzatziki sauce.


Burgers

Qty Unit Ingredient
1 lb. Ground Lamb
1 Egg
Garlic Powder
Italian Parsley (dried or fresh, chopped fine)
Rosemary
Paprika
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Form four patties
  3. Grill
  4. Serve

Toppings

Qty Unit Ingredient
1/2 c. Onion (chopped)
1/2 c. Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
Olive Oil
1 Tomato (chopped)

Directions:

  1. Coat the bottom of a skillet with olive oil and place over medium heat
  2. Saute onion and red bell pepper until softened
  3. Serve onion, bell pepper, and (uncooked) tomato with burgers
