Kahlua Brownies

Description: Rich, fudgy brownies with a bit of kahlua. Make sure you have milk to go with these.
Yield: About 16 brownies in an 8x8 pan.

Qty Unit Ingredient
12 oz Bittersweet Chocolate (60%)
1 stick Butter (cubed, room temperature)
3 Eggs (room temperature)
1 c. Sugar
1/8 tsp. Kosher Salt
1 1/2 tsp. Kahlua
1/8 tsp. Vanilla
3/4 c. Flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler
  3. Beat together eggs, sugar, and salt
  4. Mix in melted chocolate/butter mixture, kahlua, and vanilla; mix well
  5. Sift in flour and mix just until well incorporated
  6. Pour batter into greased 8x8 pan
  7. Bake at 325 F. for 40-55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean
  8. Cool for 30 minutes before cutting and serving
