Tandoori Chicken

Description: Tandoori flavored grilled chicken.
Yield: About 4 servings.

Qty Unit Ingredient
4 Chicken Thighs
4 Chicken Drumsticks
2 c. Buttermilk (or Yogurt + juice of a lemon)
2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
2 tsp. Garam Masala
2 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Ground Turmeric
1/2 tsp. Ground Clove


  1. Remove skin from chicken
  2. Cut 2-4 slices into the thighs and drumsticks
  3. Combine all seasonings
  4. Season chicken with some of the seasonings
  5. Combine the buttermilk (or yogurt and lemon) with the remainder of the seasonings and
  6. Soak chicken in buttermilk seasoning for 8-24 hours
  7. Grill until juices run clear (20-30 minutes)
